So I had to switch vehicles with Rick at the first of June, because mine wasn’t powerful enough to make it up the hill to Kristina’s camp. After he had my car for less than a day, I was informed that it was a death trap and I was no longer allowed to drive and had to get a new one. After a couple of weeks of looking, I decided on a Chevy Uplander. I found one last weekend and Rick’s suppose to bring it home to me.

Summer Stuff
Kristina just finished 3 weeks of summer camp. She seemed to really enjoy it. All but the last week that was 100+ degree days every day. We also went to Rick’s company picnic a couple of weeks ago. Id have to say that was the best complany picnic he’s ever had. Maybe that’s a promising sign that he’s finally found a good company to work for.
Last week was my last home and school meeting. It was rather depressing as we went around the room introducing ourselves and stating what position we would have on Home and School next year. I of course will not be returning, and didn’t realize how much I would miss it until then, especially upon hearing all the wonderful things they have planned for next year.
It was even sadder today to see Kristina saying goodby to all her friends from Kindergarten. She had to give everyone a hug before she left. She will start 1st grade next year with a whole new class. It has been a special blessing for all of us to have had such caring and memorable people in our lives. Mrs. Adams, Mrs. Gayla, Ms. Sandee, and Mrs. Zachoni are among those that I will miss the most.
I was awaken early this morning to the words I often dread to hear: “Mommy, I just threw up in your bed.” Joy-Good times. Needless to say – I’m awake now. Looks like tomorrow is a stay at home day for me! Lets see – pay bills, filing, and mudding – fun – fun.
